Mindset…

Few days back, me and my friend were passing by a place where few elephants were tied up with thin ropes. Suddenly we stopped and got little confused by the fact that these huge animals are held up by these thin ropes tied to their legs and it is so obvious that these elephants could easily break away from the ropes, but for some strange reason, they do not. By the time we were scratching our head; we saw their trainer nearby and asked why this huge and powerful animal is not making any attempt to go away?

The trainer told us the reason, which indirectly pointed something very important. In some ways it revealed very important lesson which we all need to understand….

The trainer said “when they are very young, we use the same size of rope to tie them. At that age, it’s enough to hold them. When they grow up, they are conditioned to believe that they can not break away. Eventually when they grow older, they start believing that the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.” We were literally amazed. These huge elephants can easily break free at any moment but just because they believe they couldn’t they were there. These so powerful and gigantic creature have ruined its present by some imaginary limitation of its past.

Like those elephants, how many of us live our life holding imaginary limitations, that we can’t do something…only because we failed to do something in the past? How many of us refuse to attempt something new and challenging just because of that negative MINDSET? Your negative mindset is just like that thin rope tied up to your leg and holding you to the ground. You just need to make one more attempt and set your self free and successful.

Always Remember….

You may fail in few attempts, but most important thing it self is to make an attempt. Never hold your self in to false and imaginary boundaries and limitations you’ve created in your past, by your own self or by someone else…..BREAK THEM!!!
